You may also support the Center through Planned Giving.  Planned giving enables you to contribute gifts of assets that benefit your family now and in the future.  Planned Giving includes gifts through your will, charitable gift annuities, gifts of life insurance, and charitable trusts.  We welcome the opportunity to work with you and your financial advisors.  Please call Jeff Tarr, Director of Development, at 314-737-5092 with any questions.

Life Insurance

A fully paid life insurance policy that you no longer need for the proection of your family can easily benefit the Center for Hearing & Speech. Simply designate the Center for Hearing & Speech (St. Louis, MO) as the beneficiary of the policy. This will result in an estate tax deduction.

If you give the policy directly to the Center, you may be eligible for a charitable income tax deduction for the "present value" of the policy.

Tax-Deferred Retirement Plan

Consider gifting your IRA, KEOGH, 401(k) or other qualified retirement plan to the Center. When a qualified retirement plan passes on to an individual beneficiary, it could be significantly reduced by income and estate taxes. Because the Center does not pay income tax and qualifies for a full estate tax exemption, consider leaving a retirement account to the Center for Hearing & Speech.

One of the easiest ways to provide for a future contribution is to name the Center for Hearing & Speech as a beneficiary in your will. Below are several types of options.
